We tend to move away from people who talk negatively and stay away from those who talk only about themselves and fail to listen to us. Do you wish to listen better and be more socially connected with people?


Pick up a social skill to connect better with people and in the process with yourself. In this workshop, you will learn how to pay attention to people when listening.

Trainer – Ms Seah Chiew Kwan

Master of Arts in Counselling, Prepare & Enrich Facilitator

Since 2010, she facilitates silent retreats for Christian individuals and groups as well as functions informally as a counsellor for the retreatants. She is currently an adjunct lecturer with School of Ministry, Tung Ling Bible School as well as a facilitator with School of Counselling, TCA College.  She thus comes with a wealth of experiences in soul care from both educational and spirituality approaches as well as from a professional counselling approach.

In addition, Chiew Kwan has started her journey as a counsellor since 2015. She managed cases including marital, family, anger management, anxiety and depression. Her approach is based on an integration of theories behind cognitive behavior therapy with mindfulness together with adult attachment for individual well-being in the broader context of strategic and structural family therapies understanding. She integrates professional counselling skills and interventions with Christian spirituality upon requests. 

She is married with two grown-up children. She is also a cancer survivor.
